MEET JESSIE & AARON
Jessica ("Jessie") & Aaron Bowen live in Waukesha, WI and have been married since 2015. Shortly after marriage, they started a tradition by making chocolates as Christmas gifts for their family and friends. In 2020 they decided to share their sweets with the rest of their community and started Lovebug LLC. — and with it, The Lovebug Co. — which was officially opened for business on December 4th, (Jessie's Birthday).
"A little bit of sweetness can drown out a whole lot of bitterness."
- Francesco Petrarca

From The Owners
We'd like to thank you for checking out The Lovebug Co.
When we first set out on this little adventure, we wanted to make something tasty and fun — something that we knew would bring a smile to people's faces, and warmth to their hearts. That's when we started making our original "Lovebug Handmade Chocolates". The name came from a nickname that Jessie's mom called her as a little girl — heck — even to this day, she'll still give Jessie things covered with ladybugs printed on them to remind her that she's her little lovebug.
Originally intended for friends and family, we sold our first batch of chocolates in Christmas tins that we bought from our local hobby store. When we saw the excitement on people's faces after delivering their tins that year, that's when we really found our passion for chocolate making and wanted to evolve it into something truly special. It would be a few years later though until we decided to take our passion and share it with the rest of our great community.
Now here we are today.
Even though recipes have changed, and we now focus more of our attention on baking rather than our chocolates, we still operate our business based on the mission we committed to the day that we opened, "To treat customers like family and to never compromise on our family values". It blows our mind to see all the support you have given us already with still being such a young company and we know without you as both our customer and as our friend, we wouldn't be able to accomplish nearly as much with The Lovebug Co. as we are able to today. You are truly the most important part of what we do and why we do it.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. ❤
